Description

So, I went to this location just to get a shot of the railroad tracks with the fall foliage...

I didn't even have my camera out yet and looked up as this buck was going to cross the tracks! I fumbled and got out my Canon 7D and switched to the 100-400mm lens as quick as I could.
The buck remained. I got a shot and had to make some adjustments.. Looked up to shoot another and now a TRAIN was coming into the scene!! Bonus!!
What was going to be just a simple shot ended up being much more than I planned!!

Shot in Greece, NY at the R/R tracks along Bennington Drive.
The bridge you see spans across Lake Ave.
